Blueboniffs Ruby Tuesday STDs OTDd CGC

Ruby at 10 years old

Ruby lives to be with me.  She is very devoted and is an able and willing watchdog, announcing all the goings on around the property.  She loves her toys and racing around the back yard with Dusty.

On livestock, Ruby is a wonderful chore dog and does her best in the pens and small, confined places.  She is not one for working very far away from me.  She will, however, stand or lie down as necessary while doing a real job, such as vaccinating or worming sheep.  She has a terrific instinct for such things.   She has taught me so many things (even thought some lessons have been in the form of a "crash" course).  Her legacy is what I have learned about stock and dogs and the proper mix of training, love and discipline.  You can't have one without the other two.

RUBY HERDING

Ruby

Ruby was my first Aussie puppy, born in 1998. Several years down the road we finally began to learn how to work together.  She is of mostly Fairoaks background with  Mistretta and Powder River outcrosses and is always ready for an adventure.  Being a subdivision dog, she is an excellent traveling companion and thinks a vehicle is merely an avenue for her to reach livestock or other fun stuff.
