Adventure to Camp Atterbury
My semi-weekly trek at dusk to decompress at the wildlife area was
rewarded with the sounds of a fox barking in the woods while a storm
came in over the lake. I need to find a comfortable spot that I
can sit without moving and accept that I will miss anything that shows
itself too far behind me. The rarer moments, like seeing the fox,
could have been improved by my not showing myself by swiveling my head
ever couple of minutes!

He was far away, but I spooked him and he moved off even farther. Darn!

One of my favorites, a male Indigo Bunting. So beautiful!

It was getting dark, so the pictures isn't good, but I watched this heron fish the whole time I was there.

A song sparrow kept me company with his song.
